A boutique Dubai dining venue required a dramatic street-facing glass frontage that could open completely for al fresco dining during cooler months while providing full climate enclosure year-round — becoming a signature visual identity for the restaurant.

The frontage needed to operate as both a fully closed climate-controlled facade and a completely retractable open wall, across a 12-metre street frontage. Standard hospitality glazing solutions do not achieve this span without intermediate mullions that would compromise the visual impact.

A motorised Cor Vision Plus retractable sliding system was specified across the full 12-metre frontage, operating without intermediate mullions via a stacking configuration. The internal wine room partition was executed in Vetromax VF35 structural glazing, maintaining visual depth and a sense of architectural layering from the street.

The venue opened to significant press attention. The retractable glass frontage became a signature feature referenced in every restaurant review. The system has operated without fault across two full seasons of Dubai's cooler outdoor dining months.
