High-floor apartment specification on the Palm Jumeirah requiring maximum glass area for unobstructed sea views, while meeting the structural wind load requirements of a high-rise coastal environment.

Wind loads and salt air exposure at height demanded systems with enhanced weather sealing and corrosion-resistant hardware. Standard residential-grade systems are not rated for high-rise coastal wind conditions. Building management also required coordinated access and installation protocols.

Cor Vision Plus floor-to-ceiling sliding doors were specified with a pressure-equalised track system rated for high-rise wind loads. Slimline Cortizo casement windows provided natural ventilation while maintaining the minimal frame aesthetic. Installation was coordinated with the building's facilities team across a phased 4-week programme.

The client described the finished apartment as a transformed space. The property subsequently achieved a rental premium above comparable units in the building, which the letting agent attributed directly to the glazing specification.
