Most aluminium window brands compete on thermal figures first and frame width second. Vetro flips that order. That doesn't mean performance is an afterthought. A frame this slim has to work harder to hold its shape and seal properly under a Gulf sun, so every batch is checked against sustained heat and dust exposure before it goes anywhere near a villa or apartment facade, not just tested once in a Vetromax lab and assumed to hold.

A window's sightline is simply how much aluminium frame is visible once the unit is installed and closed, the strip your eye actually registers around and between panes of glass. Most standard residential aluminium windows in this market run a visible sightline somewhere between 40mm and 60mm. Not every opening needs to operate. A fixed light, a pane of glass set permanently into the frame with no moving parts, is often the right call anywhere ventilation is already handled elsewhere on the elevation, a stairwell, a high-level feature window, or a picture window flanking a Tilt & Turn unit.

A slim frame draws more attention to its finish than a bulkier one would, there's simply less metal to hide an uneven powder coat or a fading anodised layer behind. Vetro's finish options run through the standard RAL colour range and anodised tones, with the coating quality checked specifically for how it performs on a narrower profile under constant Gulf sun.

Dark colourways are increasingly popular on the slim casement range precisely because the frame reads as a fine line rather than a heavy dark border, but darker finishes do run hotter in direct sun, which is exactly the kind of detail worth flagging at spec stage rather than after installation.

A slim frame only delivers its full visual and comfort benefits when the glass is specified to suit the opening. Vetro can be configured with glazing options selected around the building’s orientation, exposure and performance requirements, rather than treating every elevation the same.
